The rise above the north end, off Island Crest Way. Long driveways, side-by-side 600 series pairs and a lot of undercounter wine storage.
First Hill is one corner of the only place we work. Most of what we open here is built into joinery, from integrated columns to undercounter wine units, so panels come off before anything moves and go back exactly as they were.
Undercounter wine storage and beverage units are the calls we take most often up here, and Under the Counter is where their failures are written up one by one.

Second opinion after another shop quoted a whole sealed system. It was a defrost heater and a thermistor — a tenth of the price, and steady for eight months now.

The lower drawer dragged on its runners and iced itself shut. The drain under it was frozen solid and the heater in it had split. Thawed out, new heater, drawer levelled. It glides again.
